Bio: I started riding bicycles when I was 15 years old. It was the big boom of mountain biking and I jumped on it. But unlike my friends at that time, who quitted very quickly, I never stopped riding.

I really love the sport. I was running for a track & field club when I was junior, but soon concentrated in cycling, which provided the same level of suffering and pain, but also more fun and the possibility to go further and see more.

Road cycling is very popular in the Basque Country (that little green corner in the north coast of sundried Spain) so I have always been surrounded by bikes, racers and cycling articles in newspapers, TV and radio. Many world class races are held in my region every year, so is easy to become a fan. However, I had always been riding and racing Mtb. It can be so exciting, exhausting, challenging, tough.  I raced in Juniors, Under23 and Elite. Years 1999, 2000 and 2006 I had more time to train and where my best, scoring a regional championship in U23 (’99) and a 2nd in Elite (’06).

My love for riding bikes has taken me to other countries, like USA, Canada, Australia, Italy, France or Germany; always looking for twisty singletrack or epic mountain roads. Thanks to that, I have met very interesting people and had many interesting experiences.

My love for bicycles extends to my profession, as I found a way to get inside the industry designing bicycle components. Bicycles are a big part of the reason why I like designing stuff so much.
In June 2007 I moved to Taichung, the world center for bike industry, but also an amazing place for road bike riding. In 2008 I met Kao Adan and ModusVelo, and started racing in Taiwan.

The best of this team is to train and race with other very experienced riders, see the beautiful country, try delicious foods and specially, enjoy together . Whether helping a teammate reach the best results or attacking hard myself for podium spot, we have fun racing, and then telling stories about it with a cup of coffee in our hands.

With the support of Cinelli, Ritchey and all other equipment sponsors, it is great motivation to train harder and better than ever.

Train hard, go fast, live well!
