The Ugly
Refusing to acknowledge the potential effect of rain reducing my body temperature, I boldly began our first ride of the TCR CNY Training Camp… under dressed. The effort of climbing up the gradual grade to Sun Moon Lake was a great way to stay warm, but once we reached the lake I began to get chilled. The air was quite cold, and despite wearing 3 layers, I was completely wet, and the wind went straight to my body core. I was shivering cold for the rest of the ride. I had to ride the descents very slow due to wind chill, shivering, and lack of concentration from delirium. I vowed not to complain, alas a few grumbles slipped out.
