台灣 Team Cinelli Ritchey 車隊

北海岸的團隊計時賽和公路賽是我們今年的第一個賽事。Team Cinelli Ritchey 中表現最亮眼的是老傢伙 Rick。他不只是周六 TTT 的 Big Motor，幫 TCR 拿下了第七。 在周日的公路賽 Rick 更很聰明的加入了六人的 break, 在精英組總成績第五，在精英 40 組當然是第一。

我們 TTT 是第七。因為我們只有四人，所以我們沒有可 jettison 隊友的選擇，只有四人一同完賽才算成功。在團隊計時賽一定會有隊友的狀況比較好或不好 －－ 這並不是問題。但以我們之間應有的默契，我們在後段不應浪費不少時間等人，regroup. To me, 這是不該出的狀況。But we were happy to podium.

Rick 在周日公路賽最後一段：RE40 第一，菁英總排名第五

Rick 很早就和小集團出去了，所以我們的工作變的很 easy，尤其是沒有其它隊作太 organized 的追趕。Ray 在他第一個精英組比賽也在前面 riding patrol。我的後輪慢慢的漏氣，等到爬坡的時後我知道 game is up (where was the fabled neutral support?) so I just nursed it in, 試著不 damage 新的 Ritchey WCS Apex 碳纖後輪。

Thank God for great weather and 大家安全。我們這次的 support crew 除了小玉，Even, Lydia, Olive，妹姆外，又加入了新的成員 Patrick, Yedda 和 Ellen (每個人都有英文名，what’s up with that?) 所以去 support 的比去比賽的還多 2:1. Nice. More the merrier.

post race random thoughts:

*今年的精英組中騎起來安全多了。無俚頭的騎法少很多。我想經過一年的強制分組和歷練大家都 calm 多了。

*我報的是三十歲組，但被分到四十歲組。hmm… have to race with old geezers…

*我們在金山待了兩天，所以有時間真的 explore it. Nice little town with lots of good options for food, even with all the tourists. But what’s up with the duck banquet?

*下次一定要試金山的公共澡堂。
