I am back home in Spain for Christmas with my family, but also training well with an eye on 09, on the next racing season.

It is a bit cold here, but not so bad, and more important; is not raining. So I am doing good long training sessions as well as building some strength.

It feels really good to go back to those roads I know so well, where I trained so many years. Taiwan has beautiful roads I am looking forward to go back to for racing, but home is home, and to me it means a loop starting in Hondarribia (my hometown), riding to the border in Behobia, cross to Azkaine in France, climb the Col de St.Ignace down to Sara, Sempere and Donibane, where I take the “Corniche” road along the coast (beautiful and demanding) back to Hendaie and then home in Hondarribia. That is about 4 hours. This is one of the best rides here, but there are many others too.

Soon I will be back in Taiwan to continue training for the new season, this time without all that winter clothing and warmer temperatures. See you soon!
